No printing service is available.

Honours

Name: honslaser Make and model: HP LaserJet P3015 Type: Black and white Duplex unit: yes Who: Honours students doing CSC4000W only Authentication required: Yes. The printer will prompt your for your CS Login accounts username and password.

This printer is monitored using accounting software. You do not have a print quota but your printing is monitored and excessive, non-course related printing will be charged for.

This printer is configured on all workstations in the Honours Computer Laboratories.

Use the following instructions to configure it on your personal devices.

Linux

Use one of the following URLs to configure the printer:

• smb://ps1.cs.uct.ac.za/anic (recommended)
• ipp://ps1.cs.uct.ac.za/printers/anic

Graduates

This printer is located in Room 300.

All graduate students are automatically authorized to print on this printer when they register for any of the following courses:

• CSC5000W
• CSC6000W
• CSC7000W

This printer is managed by an accounting print server which reports on each students printing. Excessive non-course related printing will be charged for.

To install the printer do the following:

• Windows: \\ps0.cs.uct.ac.za\anic
• Linux: smb://ps1.cs.uct.ac.za/anic
