All CS accounts include storage on our file servers.
This storage generally follows you around and is available as:
- H: drive on CS domain joined Windows machines such as those in the Computer Laboratories
- as /home on CS linux workstations in the Computer Laboratories
- As /home on the Shell servers
- As \\zeol.cs.uct.ac.za\\username from any workstation via Windows or Samba
This disk space is backed up via our backup service.
No quotas are currently applied but abuse is monitored and inappropriate content will be deleted.
